Is there anyone out there who could make a widget where you could read/post the PVN posts straight in Apple's new Dashboard?
that' be nice.

I dont see how it is possible.
All of the widgets that i have made load external data via XML. This site doesnt have an XML feed for the PVN.

So there is no way to pull PHP info like XML.

Teh QBN would have your nuts on a platter

what if they were a part of it...
it's not like we don't look at the site anyway.

But it's already integrated into Safari, just type http://www.newstoday.com into the address bar and hit enter.
:\

obviously its not a popular idea.
I think it's cool. Not to have to go to the webbrowser all the time, hit a button and voila! got all you want right there.

I could make a screen reader in java but i bet qbn wouldn't be best pleased about me robbing the bandwidth to get at the pvn...
so better not!
- industry730
Already in the works! but i need my new G5 and tiger to complete it.
- vburo0
QBN will kill you for it!
- liquid0
muhahaha......
jevad you still using it....
- meisai0
i don't see why QBN would kill anyone who does this. Like i said, we are addicts to this site, and this will not stop us from still visiting.
- vburo0
but will we still see the ads? i think not!
- liquid0
I think we should make a pact.....
The first rule of NT widgets is to never talk about NT widgets
join the mail list if you would like to continue talk about mini-nts widgets or anything else concerning this topic

i am currently working on a cross-platform C++ GUI toolkit, this could be a good test drive for it :)
- mevsthem0
yeah you can do this in windows using a IE shell component and then redirecting the frames url all u would get is the pbs or ntb to use pvn u need to use to IE shell components. Its possiable on PC
- toastie0
