Just a general inquiry - What do you think a potential employer would rather look at?

Usually I prefer to see work on boards. But I dont think it really matters If the work is good.

i like to show boards better cuz then i can take stuff out and rearrange easier

boards allow the interviewer to look at more than 1 piece at a time, and compare..
sometimes this can work to your advantage.. other times, you don't want them to have 2 pieces near each other to compare.. (their impression can be effected by the color combinations which are presented at one time..) etc..
i've always used boards.. but i have a back-up book method FOR my boards.. and can remove them if needed

Really. . .
I thought until recently that boards were a pain in the ass, that empoyers would find it much easier to flip through a well-organized book.
I just printed out two recent pieces & mounted them to boards. I have to say I love how it looks, but need to get more opinions before I go through with the rest of my portfolio this way.

Aw, Leah. I'm not allowed to show these particular pieces until they are published. But I will then! Really, printing them was just an experiment for my new printer... and I happened to like the outcome once mounted.
