dude you could have said that was a windows version, Puffi. i downloaded the entire huge file and tried to install it.. then it didn't work.. then i shouted at some Apple support peeps calling them horrible names and such..
arrgh..

It's kind of buggy apparently... and the bridge is missing the stock photo link (is it because of trial version?)
in Windows version btw
Download it from there...

what does it do better or differently than CS? I could probably use PS6 in all reality. seems like most of the new features are for digital photography.

sorry my mistake, but I thought the url was explicit enough.

Either my connection is crap right now or there are SHITEloads of people downloading this program right now.
I imagine that it is the latter, of course.

except i said devolpment would stop after ALL slated projects were completed. that means anything adobe is working on this year. plus ive talked with people at SF agencies that do a lot of macs domestic advertising and he couldnt tell me much but said that the relationship with adobe and apple is "on the rocks"

it won't do any good to adobe. thinking macromedia adobe merge it don't have a tiny logic in itself..

Adobe isn't going to drop Apple, its just a ridiculous rumour. I can understand however why Adobe dropped Primiere on the mac.
Another reason adobe is here to stay on the mac is performance....
'The PowerPC G5 processor dramatically accelerates performance in real-world applications. When compared head-to-head against PCs in a series of Photoshop tests, the dual 2.7GHz, 2.3GHz and 2.0GHz Power Mac G5 systems ran the 45 filters 98%, 78% and 59% faster, respectively, than the 3.6GHz Pentium 4-based system, and 72%, 56% and 38% faster than the dual 3.6GHz Xeon-based system'

yuck! im on a 3mbit line, but i am downloading with less than 10k/sec

torrent files are much faster.. pulling around 70k/s right now on the "demo" :)

PS CS2 has many features that can help designers-smartobjects (live, illustrator editable vector objects or even live bitmaps), vanishing point (great for simulating signage, for example).
The fact that you don't need to link layers to move them together or make them into a set and much more.
BTW, I have the full version and it's great :)

I agree, plus it has support for HDR images, which is fantastic for 3D users.
here is a good review I found on google...
