man, it was COLD. snow on saturday!
i went to a great bar in andersonville? called simon's.
saw the show at second city called 'red scare' VERY FUNNY.
saw iron & wine at the house of blues. i hate the house of blues but i love iron & wine so it was good.
ate at a place called allen's which was amazing and delicious.
went to the art institute. it was pretty great.

Great city here isn't it?
I love living in Chicago. So much to do here. I'm not sure about the bar you went to, I don't really get up that far north.
But there are enough bars in the city that you could go to a different one every day for three years and you'd never go to the same one twice.

dan, the art institute was good. my feet were so tired by the time i got there though, so i probably didn't enjoy it as much as i could have. they had a great 'in sight' exhibit which was contemporary dutch photography. also a great photographer whose name escapes me [japanese] who wrote on his negatives with light.
