i feel that good graphic designers should either have a superdistinctive style or totally not and design by concept based on the project at hand..

not hard to find a parallel between college tuition and hookers.

if you look closely in design, music, whatever, most people seem to play out one idea in various forms, over & over again (me included)...

I am sure Mr. Build worked to get where he is. His style is unmissable but now everyone is trying to imitate it, surely this would piss him off and therefore make his "style" dated?
Concepts are generally timeless, you can still look back ond some ideas are still so fresh.

i am all about style...both myself and my wife constantly thrive on personal style, this is what binds our love together. this is what sets ourselves aprat from everyone else...i am known as the denim astronaut! head to toe, if its indigo im on it!

Therefore Rasko4 do you think that it should come naturally or perhaps oneday you produce something and think "shit I like that style, it's kinda unique I might use it again"

i would say i am an artist much bfore any visual communication is even considdered. creating a style is definitely formed around each one;s personal environment. it can be from yourself and from someone or something else.
i would say it would be considdered your personal style if you keep with it, not just a one time deal. styles are always changing as we are as well!
keep it up and you will find your own.

I don't see style as a good thing. I prefer to get jobs on the concept alone without wrapping it in Dance paper
