robbie_m: if the index.php is in the same folder why specify the folder at all? if you use ./ it reads out the folder where the php script resides. that way you don't need to change that line at all anymore.

thanks for all the reccommendations peoples. some of them are really cool, but way too complex for the person i'm setting this up for.
I used the first one, which works a lot like the one robbie_m just gave me, and it's perfect... so thanks again.
mission accomplished.

hey gorbie
here us is the php file that does that
http://www.shilohous.com/nt/inde…in the 2nd line where it says ../nt
change 'nt' to whatever the name of the directory the php file is in. it will list all the filesseason to taste
late

I didn't like isaac browser. its a pain in the ass to customize

scarabin: this file uploader is just what you need. you can specify the file types, max file size, and turn it to public or private upload.

can you send me a copy, tara?

you can also do this server side in apache. if it is your server and have access. you can alter your config's to allow any directory indexing you want...or none at all.
just edit the templates.

i have taht scarabin - they just need a password to upload

i'd like to see one with an integrated file upload form on it so people can upload stuff to the directory and download what others have uploaded.
anyone seen something like this?

I think there is something called isaac aswell that does what you are looking for. It's just a php file you drop into your directory. google it.

i'm checking it out now.

hi kids..
i'm wondering if there is any sort of simple way to view a directory... like the way BonSeff and peteski hook up the FMTs.
you know? http://x818.com/junk/NTFMT/
how they do that?
