i think the little bitch had it coming.

and you know what TNDAP..if you would have posted that to justify yourself in the first place, i think you would have a lot of less heat.
I see what your saying and to some degree I agree. I have friends who are mexican, and black, friends who became parents when they were young like 19 and 20. Some that lack the discipline that should have been given to them too, so now their kids run around and wreak havoc...i see what youre saying that there is a trend, but its not always the absolute. I know either with age or race of the parent that there are always exceptions.
However if youre going to get sued or not, people are going to be doing, or saying things that are always unpopular to the public, or to the media, or to even just one set of parents. But if you believe its right, and you can justify what you have to say. Then hell say that shit.

I want my kids to be owned by a corporation I will create so that I could protect my assets.

What's truly crazy about all of this is that the lawyer representing the mother/family of that little girl is trying to say that they need to "assess the trauma" she experienced being handcuffed in order to determine the settlement they will seek from the police and public school system. Such hypocrisy, the girl was already experiencing trauma from her emotional state. Under that ridiculous ethical criteria the Assistant Principal should sue the little girl for assault.

i'm not sure why i'm posting in this thread because it's one of those pointless threads where people just argue. but.
That is an awful image. that little girl is going to hate all authority figures for the rest of her life.
- Mimio0
Looks like she already hated authority figures before this incident.
- yurimon0
Her mom Probably planned it on purpose so she could sue.

------------------------------then why dont we figure out something to help change that and keep it from going down instead of just pointing out and complaining about the problems? I'm on board if you are.

god i'm getting drawn into the weirdness.
Nac it's weird how bad parenting and misbehaving gets used as a platform to sue from, and how a 5 year old can get handcuffed like that. there's no WAY you'd see that sort of thing in the uk!
It's also weird how vindictive the responses in this thread have been. i mean you guys don't even know the girl or her background.
- SteveJobs0
i see kona and chris rock teaming up to save america, buddy cop style. everyone will laugh so much, they'll forget about their differences and roger ebert will give it two thumbs up.
sorry, i pretty much gave up on this thread...

------------------------i can agree with that...

if someone is planning legal action against the school/police..whatever...what do you think the parents background is?
- Mimio0
I agree vespa, most the comments been very judgemental and unsympathetic. There's a lot of racial tension in the US, as I'm sure most people are aware of.
- TNDAP0
Everyone was giving there opinion I thought I could do the same...and then left field I am called a racist...wow.
I understand where you are coming form Kona, i see a kid, not a black kid, but I believe that a lot more care would have been taken if the child was not a minority.

Nac
(Apr 25 05, 10:01)i have no idea! that's my point!
either way if her parent are "bad parents" then why is everyone saying such awful things about the girl? surely she's a victim on both counts. she's only 5 fer chissakes.

That was funny.

so since the child could potentially be a victim, you are suggesting they allow the child to throw it's tantrums until it can be sufficiently drugged back to normalcy, while other students watch the rabid child convulse in horror?
