I need to get a simple animated logo in Flash to work on a flat screen television (I have no idea what size). I've never done something like this before and the only applications I have available are Quicktime Pro and iMovie.
I've tried Export to DV Stream from Quicktime and it only generates one frame of the animation for some reason.
Any advice would be terribly appreciated.

maybe you are using the wrong application. You can animate a logo in AE and avoid all the truble.

Here's the solution:
Get yourself a copy of Director MX/MX 2004.
Import your Flash movie into Director, and export a Quicktime movie from there. You'll be fine as long as you set up the frames per second correctly.

just FYI there are some items that get lost when you import to AE from Flash

Nevermind. I figured out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for the advice though. I wish I had AE.

Why not just export as a .mov from Flash?
