"Preview" is incredibly slow in loading more than a couple photos on my computer (os X, g4 powerbook)- seemingly much slower than it should be.
Are there any alternative Apps to view a selection of photos quickly (obviously not iPhoto)... or does anyone have an idea on how to speed Preview up??

guess it depends on how large your photos are. it's very much like Font Book, great for entry - mid level users but when you get into more professional type work, you may need to grab a more specific program.
what about using File Browser in PS?
