Anyone use those hot mac monitors with a PC?
Thinking about picking up the 23"...
Thanks for any advice,

I don't think you can. Have you noticed the lack of brightness or contrast controls on the monitor? The mac handles all that in the OS I believe.
Being a PC user I could be wrong.

brightness control is on the side of the display. Contrast is handled as part of the color profile.

I know it's possible...I just want to make sure you get the great image quality..even using the PC.
Otherwise i'll go for the sony xBrite that fake it...more or less.

According to the Apple website - Displays - Tech Specs page you need:
Windows-based PCs with graphics card that supports DVI ports with full single link digital bandwidth and VESA DDC standard for plug and play setup.

Yup..just wondering how it looks.

wouldnt it look exactly the same cross-platform? (otherwise they should tell you/you could give it back).

i have a new 23" with my PC at home and it's great... no quality difference between mac/pc.
all you need is DVI to VGA adapter, or a video card that has a DVI interface.

thanks! I'll definitely pick one up now.
Cheers.

I'm actually buying one of those high-end VAIOs....the liquid cooled ones to use the monitor with.
I'm thinking the 20" now...now work the $800 bucks for 3 more inches.
