Trying to sort out a simple one pager just for the hell of it. Experimenting with type and space. The pieces are not final - I may not even use them..but any words on the type/layout/color/space etc..
One thing I am already going to do is 'cut the crap out' as nick so eloquently said and just stick it on a black bg...
Thanks all!

Wiil the black middle section be centered in the browser with the textured grey parts resizing to the window?
Not sure I dig the textured grey parts.

it's very your style, nic. i like it. typography can be a little tigher.
i don't know about this whole one pager thing. but surely it's becoming really trendy now days.

cheers tk. how would you tighten the typography?
- mattyd0
i'd say don't use a san-serif font in italics and try and tighten up the line height in that paragraph as well.

well, your design is always really clean and organized. maybe it'll be more edgy if you can be a little more playful with your font.
i kinda like that juxtaposition sometimes. it always gives me a smile when i see something that's sorta understatement but very wise.

Interesting suggestion tk - thanks!

I think the size of the names should be smaller, most of the names are in the screen shot already. They'd have to be blind to miss that. I'd rather look at the images but my eyes are drawn to the hugh white text.
All the font sizes in relation to each other seem very similar. I think you should play with the sizes and see what you can do.
The layout is tight and very classy.
good job nic
