This is really simple, I know. When you import a vector graphic into ID, how do you knockout the white background that shouldn't be there?
I know in Quark, changing the runaround or placing the background color to none does the trick, but how is it done in InDesign?

okay,
Dont import the graphic is the rule. Instead, drag it over or copy and paste from adobe Illustrator, freehand, flash..This works.. Not sure why it does that when you import it.

Sorry, but i have to disagree... Always link you veector.... if you need to see a better preview, select the box and choose "view high quality preview" ... if there is still white, check your file and make sure it's not a part of your art.
