yes that is the smoke. the burning of the ballots. 115 of them. when the smoke turns black it is when they throw plastic on the fire.they have chosen a pope now. live on bbc. white smoke and the bells are going.
in about another hour they will say who it is. they give the person chosen a chance to either accept the nomination or reject it, then if he accepts he chooses a name.
