Well... interesting place. Was packed for a tuesday! We had a mixed started, and I had lambs liver on the side. I also went for the Iskender.
It was good, but I have to say I was expecting better. Everything seemed to come smothered in sour cream... which I can only do a small amount of at the best of times. But as the girlfriend pointed out - I'm practically a pro when it comes to cooking lamb and so quite critical...
Excellent wine at £18 a bottle.. for 3 the meal came to the £65 mark. Not bad at all, but I could do better ;)

Ah well - it's the very best I could offer mate; my usual gormet treat is a greesy spoon.
Glad it was alright tho'. Not a bad price either'.
Actually - if you want the ultimate breakfast - go here: Awsome place. http://www.classiccafes.co.uk/Pe…

that's the problem with eating out, though, isn't it.
you're always sat staring at some plate of schlock thinking, 'christ. i could do ten times this at a third the price.'
- Gordy220
Yeah Para - I'm also in a student mindset when it comes to food. I work out the cost of the meal and apply it to a supermarket shop. say the meal comes to £40, I'm thinking Shit, I could eat well for a week on that....
Oh to be financially solvent.

yeah but i wouldn't have faffed about in the kitchen for two hours with "secret sauce"...
That wine though... fuck. I'm fit for nothing but hardcore NT today. Major head fuzz.

(Apr 20 05, 13:30)What's wrong with UK Beers huh? huh?! I'm not big on belgian beers. If there were a place I could get Canadian beers I might stray.

(Apr 21 05, 03:02)I rather like Canadian larger.
Not as good as Ale or Bitter, but better than the Belgium shite.
