i have 1 problem with their line of t-shirts, they are body fitting tight, i myself am very skinny cept for my large oversized belly...i look prego! its hot! american belly! oh yeh their hoodies are overpriced big time for the mass market produced styles, it should be much cheaper. like 6 hoodies is like $250...that is much more than it should be.

aren't hoodies usually around $50 at a store anyway?

i think they try too hard selling their image as down to earth good clean fun hip too much.
theyre like on every fucking back cover of magazines. howd they get the money anyways

I've definitely seen at least seven of these in the LA area, or I might be exaggerating. I don't really understand the big deal, but whatever. All I know is that they bought some of the Southern Pacific Railroad buildings that I so wanted for my own future empire... ;^)
Rawr. The land's polluted as shite anyway.
As for their stuff. Plain, simple, not too bad. I wouldn't doubt it's overpriced. The first shirt I got by them (free) in 2002 was pretty funky though. A more recent one (not mine) was of a thick material, on the contrary of what y'all are saying, & was quite soft. Not something I'd want though.
Skirts maybe, yeah... :^)

I agree, the shirt are thin but i like them that way.. sheer is good and nice for layering.
And yes also mine my tshirt shrunk and now it's way to small to wear. Buy a size up from whatever u are

their girl stuff is tight. unless you're a hipster (not that there is anything wrong with that) stick to the fruit of the loom...
- Jaline0
thin girly shirts are hot.
and i like it when people layer stuff.
- AlexLH0
fruit of the loom feels not good..
Worst quality feel ever to the fabric..layering = fun

two thumbs down for american apparel. way too expensive for what you get.
- DaveId0
they're just wholesalers that became so popular that they decided to open stores. we've been printing on their shirts for years.
the shirts are thin because that's what their customers want.
and most importantly, the owner is a sex-pervert.
- Jaline0
ha! I think the same goes for the person who owns AE. I never see guys working at the store......

they used to have one on Broadway in NYC, not sure if it's still there...?
- derek20050
i find the shirts to be wayy too short... and the fit is just.. werid..
- rabattski0
a sex pervert? ah that would explain the sexiest ads they've run once. completely the opposite of "we're so pc". jerks.
- rabattski0
sexiest ads = sexist ads. oh me god me spelling!
