one thing i want to say is, i am never ever ever going to buy an american idol cd, listen to any of them after this show, i think it is total tripe and just awful music and i don't consider this to be an art at all. i just like watching it for shits and giggles :P

yeah same here Leah. Except I sort of like Kelly Clarkson's music, because she knows who to collaborate with. Like X-Tina and Avril Lavigne wrote some of her songs, which is why they've become hits.

Honestly, I dont like the show because I tried out for it and they didnt pick me. I did "I believe I can fly" by R. Kelly right as his piss scandal was coming out. I guess I fucked myself over on that one.
