I have 2 laptops connected to a wireless router.
1 is streaming videos and checks email.
the other (the one I am working on) timines out while browsing or pages load slowly or fail to display/ I can connect to AIM
Is there any general rule for this behavior?
I have tried to stop the streaming video from the one computer but still is the same problem.
any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

I find routers to be a huge pain. I don't even know the technical term for that stuff. Just when 3 or more computers are connected somehow (yes, I have 3 at home) it screws everything up. Now the internet on my laptop doesn't work and I have no idea why.

go into the router and set the bandwith limit for the video streaming one so it's not stealing everything available.
