Did anybody here saw SCPortugal kick Newcastle ass last week?
Go Sporting GO

Gosh also 4-1 - poor guys I am even feeling sorry for them
No, i am not! :P

I pull for Villarreal, but I guess I'd like to see Sporting win now. Rochemback rocks.
I can't believe Barcelona have he, Saviola, and Riquelme away on loan and still lead La Liga. Speaking of which, Kluivert probably has something to do with Newcastle's suckage.

hey moural how come u know so much about European leagues? Aren't u from US?
- moural0
I try to watch the games, Elfangio, or at least catch the highlights when I can.

How is the soccer sceen in the US? do have a nice league?

With Newcastles exit from both the Uefa Cup and FA Cup goes the chance of Shearer to win anything in his career. Sadly this is the price you pay for loyality. Shearer is the prime example of what modern players aren't.
Man how i hoped that he'd win something this season. But sadl he ends up just like Le Tissier.

Is it true that in US you don't have matches ending in draw, bacause it isn't fun that way. And i hope that americans idea of having bigger goals just because they wanted bigger scorelines, is put where it belongs - down the toilet.

We usually don't get games (besides CL) unless you pay extra, so I watch what I can on the internet. One of the Spanish-language stations has a half-hour highlight show at night that I try to watch when I can.
The main league here (MLS) is pretty bad. Most of the players are either out of college, or older players from Europe or Latin America. It's getting better though, as some of the players have transfered to England and Germany.

sajets, we have draws now, and the goals are the same size.
They used to have a golden goal kind of thing for regular games, but they got rid of that this year.
I know it sounds silly, but one of the problems I always complain about is that they play mostly on American football fields. The grass is usually longer so as a result, the play is a lot slower.

manchester united was great yesterday....

ManU is never great, they're wankers. All of them!

SCP is starting to loose focus on the national league games...
4 fucksakes.

shearer has one more chance to try and shake some sport into the toon - he delayed his retirement a year. obviously realise that without him there was no team...

I wish Sporting wins UEFA and looses the portuguese league to Benfica.. I've been waiting 10 years for that to happen
- Anarchitect0
Fatima will be full of Benfica supporters this year.

I don't think that Newcastle will win anything next season. Not when Souness is their manager. Plus they don't have anydecent forwards left. Kluivert is useless cunt, Ameobi scores some odd goals but Shearer is still the one to bet on.
I'm so glad that Souness did a favour for Liverpool and took care of Newcastle competing for 4th spot :) But now we have wankers across the park and Bolton to worry about. But if we win CL then it doesn't matter :)

Shearer has already won the Premier League with Blackburn!
Many players never even win a single trophy...
Come on Arsenal in the final!

So did Man U yesterday

From London eh? No surprise there then
;-P

tehee paddy, thats a good one :)
Yeah he won it with B'burn, but not with the club he loved. But his talent is still above every other english striker in the league IMO.
I'm more sad that Le Tiss never got near of winning anything, though his ability deserved it more than Neville sisters or some other players.
