I used to break into the MC Train Station and take pictures when I was a student. That part of town has a strange vibe.

Probably because its been abandoned for decades. However if you just venture a 1/4 mile south into Mexican Town, things are definitely vibrant....as much as it can be for Southwest Detroit at least.

- dwarner0
yea, how is EMU? I'm getting ready to transfer, and it's looking like either Wayne or Eastern.
- Jack_Purcell0
I went to EMU and now I go to Wayne. Unless you want to be a teacher, stay out of EMU.
On another note, if your looking for stuff to do in the D, check out this site: http://www.listd.net

I was just at a Wayne State grad student art show last Sat night. I knew they had a good Fine Arts program. So they have a good design program now?
- Jack_Purcell0
Not sure, I'm a marketing major.

When I was at EMU 93-98 they had a good design program. CCS basically grafted the program out from under them the year I graduated. That's why I was wondering how things turned out. I took some marketing classes at the COB there too.
