I was wondering if anybody out there would be willing to collaborate on a current idea I have...
The idea is for a room of people to set their mono or poly custom ringtones up with a predetermined set of notes (yet to be constructed) and all press play at the same time, the effect will be that the collective makes a piece similar to that of an orchestra, but much much shorter in length and using nothing but their phones.
Each person will add to the piece by having a unique part in the sound, much like a memeber of the orchestra would. The mono ringtones will play a different job to the polys and so on.

Just for the record...I had no idea about the dot matrix thing.
People already doing your work is a good and bad thing. Good because it pushes the boundaries and concepts of art before you did, but bad because you don't get recognition for it (like breaking a world record in a race, but somebody also beats you at the same time, and you don;t get recognised for you breaking of it...you know what I mean)
