I'm looking to buy a scanner that will do an ok job scanning slides and negatives for the web. Anyone have experience with the Canon or Epson scanners?
Any suggestions? I'm not printing the files... just for web work.

i was going to say you're better off with a dedicated film scanner but if its just for web you dont need the resolution anyway
i use a epson 2450 for that job

looks like you can afford it
http://search.ebay.com/Nikon-Coo…but do you really need that quality for web imagery ? maybe its even less flexible than a flatbed in formats

Ahhhh... I forgot to mention. I want to scan medium format film also... So I'm looking for a flatbed. The nikon scanner that scans medium format is 3k.
Does anyone have a flatbed with a transparency adapter that is willing to show me the result of a scan? I know it's not going to be print quality...
