No printer manufacturer includes cables. They haven't since the beginning of time.

kinda strange cause i got one with my epson 1290,about three years ago...

I currently work in retail and it's true USB cables have not been included for at least the last 2-3 yrs. Why? Because to drop the prices in the never ending battle for good printer value they took out the cables to drop the price. We get loads of people complaining about that.

yeah sucks.. but in all fairness printers are like disposables now.. I remember when my epson 760 cost 7-8 times as much as a similar printer now.
