even if I said 5% of the posters are nice, I would be too optimistic.

yeah but most nice ones don't really stick to the brief..
it'd be a tough one for the jury.. i think they will just go for the best aesthetics in the end..

now that is a nice one indeed:

Yeah that one has a strong concept of both geography & information, and not a map in site!!. Too much fluff on there, nothing memorable, like the one nografik linked doesn't make much sense?! it's no Armin Hoffman

that one's ugly, (with all the squares)
and the camoflage one is poxy (whoever said it was 'tight' – haha, dufus)
I like this one too:

I'm sure there's some better stuff though if I could be arsed to look through it.

josimar.. it's perhaps a battle between concept and esthetics..
i liked the conceptual strength of that 'computer' poster..
the other is rather abstract but might be more pleasing to the eye..

The more i look at this one... the more i love it... most other poster just put a world map and mess it up without much creative concept to it or did not stick the a theme.
sure there are few nice looking one with out concept but all style/concept. But this one got it all. I want to get one on my wall...

josimarX:
I was like you before, as you can see my first post, i like the one u pick also. But as i look more of the posters... they all look the same.. eye candy without concept. making nice looking pictures is easy, combine eye candy with concept is hard and rare. That is why i love the "Deframentation" one.
