yorue right on ronaldo. but thats exactly why i didnt like it. cus i expected it to be different.
it sounds the same so far. his voice and the guitars gets really boring.

"I think I used to have a voice" Trent just sang in my speakers. I like listening to this album even if it sounds a bit bogus. It has moments of high vibe but these are undermined with a smell of unsincerity in the air. As I said before, it sounds "emotion engineered".
It's like he knows perfectly where to touch to make us weep but he doesn't know what he's doing it for.

"SHOT: Nine Inch Nails - David Fincher, director
Acclaimed director David Fincher will be making a foray back into music videos for Nine Inch Nails. "Only" was shot on April 19 and will be in post through late June. Look for this video to incorporate some intensive CG effects.
Fincher has directed the feature films Seven, Fight Club and Fight Club. His music video body of work includes clips for Madonna, Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones.
artist: Nine Inch Nails
song: "Only"

1st track is good..
sounds alright to me? wtf would you kids know..most of yeh were probably chewing on a harvies crust when head like a hole was released.:)I always thought NIN is infact Trent Reznor. The band is just the tour.

saw nin show in SF this wednesday. brilliant. 2-3 tracks from each release. sequences were great and if the new album sounds a bit soft or tame it doesnt come across that way live. go check it if you can.
he still puts on a great perfomance. just as full on as back in early 90s.

ok WTF?
new nin tour with Queens of the stone age and death from above 1979?
does this seem odd to anyone else out there?

in response to the destroying clip, :
I caught a cool article about 5 years back talking with their Keyboard Tech. Title was ," Most Stressful Job Ever." They destroy shit every show, a total rampage.
Have you ever seen a keybaord hit the ground? Like a body hitting the ground from 40 stories up. I still have a key from the 96 show with APC. Anyways the tech basically werks 24/7 on tour rebuilding, and wrapping the innards of the baords with saran wrap due to all the water flying around on stage.

Death from Above 1979 rock my fucking face off.

the nin and qotsa releases are the two best things out recently and the two bands on my concert wish list. the prospect of seeing them both in one show is cool with me.
i'd call death from above 1979 a damn fine bonus with that show.

NIN is ok, but what ever happened to QueensRyche? Man, I could jam out to them on my stereo for hours.
