just got home and my fiance just informed me that my bike was stolen from the rack that was locked with a houdini proof LOCK, DAMN!!!!

i once had the same bike stolen 3 times....it was just amasing how i found it the first 2 times and stole it back...

Man I really sorry to hear that!
I really loath bike thieves scum of the earth, it stops me riding my funky bike around after dark so have ride some old clunker just so i don't spend my evening wondering if my bikes been stolen.If you find them be sure to chain them to a lamp post see how easily they get out of that shit with out some bolt cutters or jacks :)

I once had my bike stolen from outside my office in Hakney, it was shitty old bike, wonky wheel, wasnt bothered really, seemed like a good excuse to get a new one...
2 morning later, it was returned with a note 'sorry, I was drunk'

funny you should mention that kezza, i stole i bike once i was drunk, and i returned it too, but it was because it had a chair for a kid on the back of it and i felt so bad i put a bottle of redwine with it..

On that note, I was drunk in my student house, and as was the ways in those days, we nicked memrobilia from our nights out.
I stole a red and yellow kiddie car from someones garden and we rode it home. I felt so bad the next day, so we waited till 3 am and carried it back, what a bunch of loons we must have looked like

was at the beach the one year and borrowed a bike from some friends who lived there, that bike got stolen while in my possession so I stole a bike off of someones porch to replace that one...
