anyone else who gets in funks - is it in a cyclical way? like lets say every 4 years u go into a kind of depression u had before?

yeah. it happens to me once in 2-3 years - things kind of accumulate and explodes.
it sucks because you know you're in it but you can't get out.i usually tell people to stay the fuck away from me coz i can be a total bitch when i'm in a funk mode. i stay in, watch movies and read books, do my own things and usually come out of it in 1-3 weeks.

I get into funks every 5 years or so. this is definetly my funk year so far. everything in my work life is the best its ever been but my personal life seriously sucks. very frustrating 'cause I realize I'm just in a bad mind state but will snap at a kitten if it catches me on one of those days.
