well,I made it back from manchester in one piece and without doing any lasting brain damage. We took the groom to Long Legs Strip Bar and paid for two women to rub their boobs in his face. I started off laughing at how mortified he was as they had taken him on stage where the pole is, but then they stuck a couple of pairs of amazing boobs in his face and I would be lying if I said I wasn't a tad jealous.
Star and Garter is a great night out though.

Sounds like you're looking for The Hacienda around 1989.
Ask Dr Who if you can borrow his Tardis.

I'm from a place called Sowerby Bridge which is in the hills on the other side of Oldham, but on the night I was stopping over in natwich with my mate who is getting hitched.

the after party action was unfortunately a big taxi ride back to HQ at my mates house.

If I could get hold of that baby I reckon I'd just hold my own club in there and maybe ring some darleks in to do some kind of laser show. + i'd nip back and get the roses circa '88/'89 to play live.

Star and Garter, have you been there before, that was the first gig our band ever played.
Happy days.
