Hi people, I have been asked to add a Discussion Group to a clients website, something similar to:

Does anyone know how to go about developing something like this?
I did initially want to develop a message board but they wanted the discussion grouip.

well, no reason to reinvent the wheel, here. the web is littered with different mailing list scripts and software packages.
most notable is majordomo.
http://www.greatcircle.com/major…but, there are others which are better, smaller, etc.
just depends on the needs of the user.
i suggest googling for 'mailing list software' and hitting up the usual repositories...

etc...etc...etc.
