Jaline -- I'm with you about fast food tasting good. But lots of other foods taste good too, and lots of other foods give me the Brandelec Tongue Orgasm™. So the only selling points for me would be the low prices and quickness.

Yes, graf. East coast. But really, if someone lives in NYC, they have no excuse for eating fast food, cos there's so much good, cheap food everywhere (though not necessarily healthier than fast food).

anybody else here the rumor that the wendys/finger was planted by the woman to make some money for the chain? Her grandmother died recently. May have just been a rumor.

i haven't eaten at mcd's since forever, but they are supposedly redoing their menu with healthier items.
fast food is bad for you when you pick the unhealthiest items on the menu. (ie. double ultimate quadruple bacon triple cheesburger - 2000+ calories, 15 grams of saturated fat, high cholesterol)
upscale restaraunts featuring italian, mexican, latin, etc, etc. are bad for you when you pick the unhealthiest items on the menu. (ie. fettuccini alfredo pasta with over 80 carbs, 15 grams of saturated fat, and high cholesterol)
many people just need to educate themselves on healthy eating before stuffing their faces.

tim hortons makes really good soup and sandwiches that you can get at the drive through! and it's "healthy" too
i was in the states last fall and we went to wendys and ordered a chicken burger fries and a pop, the regular fries and pop were the size of an EXTRA large fries and pop in canada, it was shocking :O

when i am drunk, i go to japanese ramen noodle place...
i recently found out this place where i can eat sashimi at 2am too... great to live in the city.

a lot of stuff is not as healthy as ppl believe it to be.
and there are lots of options when it comes to eating healthier now. except usually those food products are more expensive.

as healthy as i eat i think fast food helps keep me sane. i'll eat it 2wice a week. sundays for sure then whenever else during the week i get the urge. eating fast food 3x a day for all your meals is just plain stupid.
as far as this movie goes what did the guy think was going to happen?
on the other hand of the coin though there was a guy who did the same thing except he ate mcdonalds in moderation 3x a day plus excersise and he actually looked better than when he started. search it. it's true.
if i ate straight lard 3x a day for 3 months while sitting on the couch watching tv what do you think is going to happen? pah-lease.

to be honest, the reason I still eat fast food even though i live in NYC is this: I get cravings. Sometimes I just feel like eating fried chicken, the real greasy kind, like from Popeyes.
I attribute it to the trace amounts of narcotics they put in their drumsticks...
