I live in milwaukee wisconsin and this is a very sensative issue around here... especially cuz its the hicks in the sticks that want to shoot our furry friends.
I love wisconsin, but this is a little fucked up for sure.

First off as an American I would like to say that human rights are overrated... people always complaining about getting snooped on or watched or this or that , all this big brother crap... well really I think thats part of being American, and if you don't like being watched then you have every right to move to France...
As far as hunting cats, screw it, we should be allowed to hunt anything with four legs as far as im concerned.

it's one thing if the cat is rabid, but the problem is that there are too many irresponsible (trigger happy) hunters out there that just want to get their gun off. i could just see one of them picking off a friendly collared domestic cat from 200 yards for a quick round of target practice and then removing the collar. population control should be done at a clinic, not with a gun in the field.

when i lived in austin, there was this crazy lady that would feed the strays in the field that surrouded my street. those cats multiplied x10 and drove all the rodents into the homes. it was fucked up. i would have totally sniped out the little fuckers if it was legal. and that crazy lady too.
