there are 'deliverables' and 'usage' clauses in every proposal i write. if you need a place to start, search the AIGA site for their sample contract.

What blaw said. If you have it in a contract there will be no worries.

Agreed, put it all in the contract. But by default (that is if there is no mention one way or the other) the source files are not part of the final delivered product. I've never been in the situation myself, but the most typicall number I hear is 50%.

have any idea where I can find that sample contract... did a search and didn't come up with anything.. been searching around for last 15 minutes now.. still can't find it..
does anyone have it on their machine or can post a link to it?
