what did you keep?
also how is it working out for you? did you get a new battery?

anz - i actually kept all of it (backed it up to a hardrive but then cleared most off of the ipod). It is working fine just keeping it hooked up to the home stereo. i have yet to get a new battery. i will one day, no hurry right now.
