I need to create a multi page pdf document like the ones you can download from the internet (ie. page 1 then page 2 then page 3 and so on...). I've looked on photoshop and adobe acrobat and it's a nightmare...
HOW DO I DO IT??!!!

you're making a multipage document in Photoshop? Wrong way to go. Why don't you place the images in a layout program (InDesign, Quark, etc.)? Heck, place em in MS Word if you have to, and make a PDF out of the Word document.

I think I read that the new CS2 will let you do that.

in acrobat.

place the image files in a desktop publishing app (indesign, etc.) and either export as a pdf or print the the distiller.
or
save as individual .pdfs from photoshop and then open the first in acrobat then "insert pages".
i think there's an automated version of the "insert pages" command that will do several at once, but i don't know it off hand.

I just have acrobat reader. I heard about the Batch tool in photoshop but that's like going from A to J to Z and then back to B.
You can save as a pdf in Word? Really? I'll give it a go...

Work XP doesn't let you save as a PDF
- blaw0
you're going to need the full version of acrobat.

waitaminute... if you only have acrobat reader, you won't be able to make a PDF (unless you have Distiller pre-installed with some of your other software, like InDesign). There are other programs you can download that will make PDFs -- just search the PVN or Google.

try to "print" to pdf instead of "save" in word... i think.
- dippy0
yes, what gruntt says, although it'll only work if you have Distiller installed as one of your printers.

No distiller, no happy finish.
- gruntt0
just manually save the files with the suffix .pdf, send them to whoever you need to and then blame them when they don't work.

Haha gruntt! "What??!! You don't have Acrobat CS3? Sucks for you. I can't help it if I'm on the cutting edge of document creation."
