This creates a right click option that enables the user to download the source of a flash movie.

Anybody planning to use this?

that's pretty neat I like it. Depending on the project I might use it.

I am a big fan of the open-source community. That's how I learned Flash and other languages. People like Josha Davis and Jared Tarbell have always shared their source and knowledge. So it is only logical to do likewise, without screwing up the design with some download source button.

I've been viewing people's sources for about three years since the advent of all those Flash Grabbers and such. All you do is find the source of the .swf, grab it, bring it down to your HD. Open up a licensed SWF DeCompiler. You got what they got.
Voila!
Although, I'm not supporting this.

interesting. but it falls under the somewhat useless software catagory.
if you want to share your flash source, simply license it under the gpl and offer the fla(s) for download.
really don't need a tool.
besides this is bluring the lines between licesnes. creative commons doesn't generally apply to software (they even say that in their faq). flash, once you add scripting to it could be construed as software.
if you want to properly support open-source, you should license any software/code/etc., under the GPL or similar OSI approved license.
open-source doesn't mean "free for all without control." just giving away your source code doesn't make it open-source.

JazX,
You just opened pandora's box for those who didn't even know it existed.
