I have yet another photographer site mock up that I'd like you guys to take a look at...
I 'll start you one page deep in what ultimately will be a flash implemented design:
http://www.izabellademavlys.com/…
A few of the thumbs will let you access other large image mockups. What I am looking for is your thoughts regarding stylistic and compositional issues...
For instance, what do you think about the darkness of the image outline and very minimalized drop shadow? The intent on my part was to keep any borders VERY light feeling. Ultimately, the loading mechanism of the Flash will feature a fluid resizing of the frame size during each load interval.
Also, my client said she thought the thumbs were too far apart. I disagree but what do you think?

i don't know how much i like all those shadows.
if the thumbs (even main photo) had a 1px white border, then a 1px super-light gray (#EFEFEF) border, that might get you the same effect without all that softness blurring together.

the text at the top (isabella demavlys - photographer) seems sorta just dropped there without any regard to how it interacts with the rest of the site. And the placement of the site in general is sort of weird on the page. Is it going to be centered eventually?

Thanks so far...
Any more critiques?

i am not sure about the shadow treatment and the size of arrow. it's clean but not feeling so designed.
maybe it needs something to anchor the whole design and layout. it looks like all the elements are floating.
