Choose a Grey Tone!

There was a background? All I saw were the fantastic photos. Does your friend need a photo assistant? :)
The black is obviously more contrasty and frames the photos better, but option one grey compliments them better. Pulls out similar tones from the photo backdrop.

a tone between 1 and 2.. 2 is too bright, 1 might be too darker for some screens and it messes with the alpha thumbs . otherwise choose black to contrast

i haven't read through these posts...
i really like the darkest color, it looks the classiest, and it allows the photograph to stand out in a subtle way

Ummm... I will try to make some noise when we release this portfolio site.
Frej's images are amazing—you can see a few more on the dark grey mockup if you keep clicking the large image.
I haven't updated the homeostatic site for awhile because so many of the projects that we've doing are still in development.
