Im blasting music out of the speakers right now in my office...is that wrong?

my office is in one huge room, not even cubicles, but everyone can hear everyone. so i can't play anything over the speakers...
but the headphones do the trick.
problem is, i have to answer the phone, and taking the headphones off when the phone rings is a hassle. the other jerks here just let it ring forver. UGH
