Anyone else here have problems with their support or with getting their products to work?

i had a card in an audio recorder and the power got knocked out. haven't gotten it to mount on anything since. support from both companies weren't very sympathetic, "too bad" essentially. the audio unit's documentation does say specifically to not use sandisk cards.

otherwise, i've got about 20 cards from diff manufacturers and they just seem to randomly fail. they're just sensitive things and no one wants to take responsibility.

the first usb key drive i got was a scandisk. it never worked. it had issues with windows and didn't properly mount or format in linux.

i took it back and tried a different one, same thing.

i wrote them an email and never got a reply so i returned the second one and purchased a kingston device.

never had a problem with it.

Here are my problems with their 'support' (From my support email):

I have never been able to get this reader to work on my Mac. Not in OS9 and now not in 10.3.8. I gave up a long time ago and tried again recently. The drivers say 10.1. Is any higher version of OSX supported. Nothing is recognized. When I installed the latest driver. The support on the website is so poor regarding this but when searching the web I found numerous compliants of people not getting the reader to work on a Mac. One person wrote get a PC if you want any SanDisk products to work.

Also it would be nice if your phone support had an estimated wait time instead of incessant advertising on the phone with no end in sight.

I find it ridiculous to have to register and enter my address to ask a question online also.

BTW, then I couldn't even submit this form in Firefox, parts (like the phone fields) weren't even displayed correctly and had to redo it in IE. It was telling me you must supply a description of your problem when I already had filled out all fields.

    Answer:
"Unfortunately the reader is not supported by higher versions of macintosh than 10.1.5."

    Response:
I don't think this is stated on the website. Having this clearly on the site could help avoid a lot of customer confusion and frustration. There are forums of people not getting this to work and don't know why.
Are there any plans to support higher versions in the future?

Also please have the development team look into the Support forms not working in Firefox. Firefox and Mozilla currently make up over 25% of all browser usage.
