help with .sit (mac)

ok i stuffed some old work on a floppy back in highschool and i am trying to figure out how open it on my pc. i have a bunch of .sit files but everytime i try to unstuff them it gives and error. i can view the contents of it and see files, but not unstuff. any ideas? i seem to remember that stuffit would make a .sit and a .something else.... am i missing a file?

reminds me when I got suspended from middle school for making a macro in word saying you have 24 hrs to live and some other crap to it, I always enjoyed the idea of brainwashing people.

shouldn't need anything else to unstuff.. maybe it's a super old algorithm that isn't supported anymore?
you're saying you made it on a mac and are now trying to unstuff on pc?
post it somewhere and i'll try it if you'd like

yea .bin do i need a .bin AND .sit or just the .sit?

i think .bin was a universal format while .sit used to be mac only?
anyway, one or the other, you don't need both.

hmmm yea. i appreciate it but i do not think i want to send this around. like i said it was stuffed in 1997 and i have nooooo idea what my crazy highschool mind would have put in it.

stuffit comes on win and can read the BIN and SIT formats apparently. let us know how you go if you use it! (download the free trial)

raw data, can be anything

thanks robbie but i think i am just gonna give up until i can remember what i put in here. its prolly stupid super paint crap anyway
