AVANT GARDE SB ALTERNATES
ITS BEEN ASKED HERE AT LEAST 3,546,248 TIMES BEFORE!
WHY?
CUZ ANY DESIGNER USES IT NOWADAYS WHILE YOU CANNOT EVEN BUY IT CUZ ITS AN ILLEGAL FONT IN A WAY MEANING IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE SOLD ONLY THE REGULAR AVANT GARDE.
- vburo0

(Apr 4 05, 16:24)"just" ??
you mean it is released again??
- sauerbraten0
Herb Lubalin created the alternet characters exclusively for use in Avant Garde magazine, they've subsequently been leaked over the years and poeple have unlicensed versions.. apparently Elsner & Flake negotiated a re-draw of the originals and is now licensing them. At least people will be able use a nicer/updated version of the font (sparingly), the one i have is pretty scrappy..
- vburo0
hmm interesting..
but should we use it?
we can but not just because..
na meen?
- sauerbraten0
it's just overused, it's a really damn cool typeface tho, it's just getting oversaturated.
use hot dutch faces, them are yummmmmmmy.
- vburo0

:P
- sauerbraten0
