cant download firefox extensions!?

hi, ive been trying to download some developer extensions for firefox, but when i click on teh install button, nothing happens. is anyone else getting this problem?

yeah, still dead. i havnt been able to download any extensions for ages. i cant beleive its just my firefox, as my colleague cant download it either via his firefox. try it, click on a developer extension (or any i think), and it just wont do anything!!??!!

look above top of the page are u getting a yellow hint with a button on top right corner u have to anable the site to allow downloads from it...

I had these problems but then for no reason at all it started working. I just kept on trying it!

ive just tried downloading firefox itself, and its letting me download that, so why cant i download this frigging extension? i cant think what else to try. i tried using IE to donwload it, and it just does nothing.
