nice and clean. i like it.
two questions:
1. why put "work" in the far-left? felt work should be placed where "process" is.2. when image shows up in work area, they're clickable but when i click nothing happens...is there supposed to be popup or larger-sized image?

first and foremost,
86 that Marquee tag. that is not only annoying, but antiquated.
do yourself a favour and take that nasty crap out of there.
please.

We're the kind of people who relish the constant battle between simplicity and complexity,
keep fighting, I say go even simpler

I think this kind of format only works if you have lots of content to move through in each of the boxes. The way it is now, with a small amount of static content in three of them, and then your work cluttered into a small box on the right, it feels like bad use of space.

BIGGER images pls

jevad said it.
images = tiny
is the layout centered?

Seems like you have some nice work in there.. Why not let that be the hero?

nice colors, seems clunky? the bold outlines are what I notice first not the type or the work.
This is a portfolio site not a news site. Work should come first. You're on the right track keep going. You've got some good stuff.

the site doesn't fit the work.
the print is way more polished than the design of the site.
seems odd to have the site feeling amateurish and the actual work very pro.

yeah, its not working for me

Is yellow-orange and grey and new grey and pink? This is the second site crit today to feature that color scheme.

Great! Thanks for the tips guys, are RE: the marquee tag yes I agree totally lame, but he insisted that is stay in there.
And yeah i think at least there should be some bolding of text or increased font sizes.
Thanks!

Something is not working with the scrolling on osx with Safari.
Take a look- the bottom content goes off the page, but the scroll bar doesn't activate.
Even if the scroll bar did activate, it would be kind of annoying for users with a 1024x768 screen resolution to have to scroll to see those bottom boxes of content. It is so close to being all on one screen- I would work on trying to get it to all fit on one window at least for 1024x768 users.

cool... yeah looks like I'll have to slide it up a bit and add some margin to the bottom.....
thanks Scott!
