Well, as I gear up to take on some more freelance to help cover taxes and moving...wondered what y'all thought of my portfolio. I'm currently gainfully employed so I'm not looking for a job, just some extra work to make $$. Any comment or criticism is welcome.

takes too long to load up front, even on DSL. Shrink file sizes and load in sections.
Work on the BG too.
Other than that, looks good.

I'm aware of the loading issue...will try to work on that this weekend. Am more concerned about design/ layout at this point.

i agree about the background image, i could probably do without it.

the clouds are considered an image.
the repeated background image is what they are referring to *i believe*
i can barely see it on my monitor.
too bad you couldn't design the logo for pulsestudio.

nothing says blah like a yahoo email address, what about something like
you could have it forward to you yahoo addy if need be.
as for the site, it looks a little too corporate/stock for a personal site, try to have some fun with it.

Good point about the e-mail address. I realize the site is kinda corporate looking...it's actually not a personal site, but a site to target small to medium sized business for web design jobs.
