yea. but have you seen it? the first gen version is awful.
wired did a bit on this guy. he has a huge 90's era serial cable connected to the top of his noggin.
i'll hold out until the swank cat6 connection, or better yet the wifi link is out.

don't they already have that sorta thing in the Apache helicopter? you know blink and it's all guns blazing...
- sparker0
lol. 'robot' dreads.
i saw an article somewhere about a guy who implanted himself with an rfid chip and now's he's writing programs and building hardware that interacts with it in his home.
whacky shit.
i'm content with my corporate barcode tattoo right now.

There is nothing wrong with this atall. I would demand one if it became acessable on the old NHS.
I would control blenders and bread knifes and microwaves and blinds that is all I would need to gain a huge fortune through poltergeist extractions.

yes. when you close your eyes and take your hands off the stick and scream like a girl everything fires at once.where on earth do you get your info from? you're always way off.
with the apache only the gun under the nose is wired to the helmet. wherever the pilot looks the gun looks. then he hits the trigger button on the control stick.
making them close an eye while flying is pretty funny.

kona - don't know about US versions but UK uses missiles launches via electro-pulses which come from the brain down the spinal column. Which is quicker than pressing a button - half the battle is won that way.
Also my dad worked at D.E.R.A. UK defense systems which is now Qinetiq, and now spends time showing silly american's the difference between UK Tornadoes and Iraq missiles, not to mention our chinook helicopters.;)
*just waiting for men in black to break through me window now....
