It's been a while since I last put up some new work on my folio site, and figured that now, when I'm planning on putting some up, would be a good time for a bit of tweaking.
I'm still very happy with my site. It fits perfectly with the rest of my personal ID system, it's quintessential /me/, is a extremely easy to navigate, fast loading with nice big shots of work, and works for both corporate and more daring clients.
But is there anything anyone would suggest tweaking? Is there anything that bugs you in the slightest? Is the nav for seeing more shots straight forward enough?
oh, and is there a damn way to get that iframe (the whole plain grey area) to centre properly in firefox/mozilla? Safari listens, but firefox just seems to have its fingers in its ears)

you could use the onResize event in flash to centrally align

stupid me!!
yes - http://www.nathan-adams.net/imake - the bulk of the site is html - only the square with the actual images in is flash. it's just an "main.html" - loaded into an iframe on the index.html page (which is the concrete)

so you're pulling in 15 seperate .swf's?
you could remake it to look just like it does in in 1 fla and remove the iframe in the process
i like the block estate stuff

I'd rather keep as much of the site in html as possible. I only use flash on the images for the mouse over info and jumping between the 3 shots.
besides, it's not the iframe the flash loads into that's the problem, it's the main one (the whole grey area, which contains the image + menu on the right) that needs to be centred. At the moment, the iframe it loads into is in the middle cell of a 3x3 table. So Safari puts it in the middle, but firefox just ignores the fact the vertical height of the table is set to 100%.
and thanks, the Block Estate is one of my favourite pieces :)

any more feedback?

I personally don't think the site does your work justice, I think more attention to typography would enhance it no end, I also think it would look better as a pop up, or at least change the background image.
Looking at the Retreat Mag, cool typo, I use something similar for your site.

It works. I didnt like the press/release state over the images, it feels like a mistake how you get that weird flicker when clicking.
I would like to see a few nitpicky things done but with such a simple site I wouldnt even sweat it.

I don't how you have to move the cursor off the images to to see the full color version when clicking through the project images.

Why do you have the content of the site loaded into an iframe? Why not just build it out of tables?
Also- it would be really cool if you could navigate through the shots anyway you wanted. Right now it's click to move to the right. Click again to move to the right. Click again to go back to the first image. Why can't the user control which direction the image moves? That way you can add more then three.
I don't think the site does your work justice either. I think you could really use some shots to put your work in context. It's nice to see the details, but the details need a structure in which to reside. I hope that makes sense. The "Esselte" section is a perfect example of where you sell yourself short.
