few weeks ago i lost my valet with everything in it....my whole,life...best feelign ever when I found it yesterday..apparently it was never gone. just buried in a sofa thst I looked thru a million times....and for once my lazy attitude saved me 200 dollar for not appalying for a new working permit yet...huh..

I know it seems I have a story for every lost wallet, but when I lost mine that one time, I found it a week later in the back of my underwear drawer..
just sitting there. Christ knows how is got back there. Congrats on finding yours though Spix!

My mom lost hers once, after unknowingly leaving it on the roof of her car and then proceeding to drive around town! Someone found it on the road and gave it back to us.
I always put things back where they belong (i have a place for everything) so I don't lose anything that way.

As crazy as this sounds, the same thing with the wallet on the car roof happened to me to, I was at the petrol station filling up, left it there, drove off, luckily it was on the ground when i came back to check.
Madness. I think I am the queen of losing my wallet.
Oh and I know, the underwear drawer was baffling.

the roof plays a common role in all of these stories. My parents found some rich persons wallet with tons and tons of money and they phoned the guy. So they met up with him and he gave my parents a hundred dollars. A week later they got a letter in the mail from the guy wiht a hundred dollars worth of swiss chalet coupons and 50 bucks worth of lotto tickets. Soemtimes it pays off to be nice i guess.

once i found this guy's wallet, it had a decent amount of cash in it. i returned it [ with all the cash ] and he sent me a letter that said "virtue is its own reward."
