Can you guys recommend any really sweet design books? Stuff to look at is cool, but some theory and techniques are always good too. My recommendation is "Grid Systems in graphic design" by Josef Muller-Brockmann. It's in English and German.

I just bought Sagmeisters book, 'made you look' really cool 3d thing going on on the front cover and it is an interesting amusing, and informative book.
Would recomend for sure.'Graphic designers for the 21st Century' is also great. More to look at though rather than methods.

A Type Primer. Not sure about the author's name, but a good book to have lying around.
