So I have gone retarded. I am working in Illustrator and my Shift key is not allowing me to size in proportion.
Did I turn it off? If it is an option how do I turn it back on?
Yes, the key works.

are you running any other applications which may have some hotkeys enabled?.. i know on my PC when using flash.. i have to disable the hotkeys in the instant messenger software i use.. cause it's got some enabled that disallow me to do a shift + F5 or something like that..
also happens with my winamp hotkeys when

None of that is the problem. I'm working on a Mac and I can't size it the same in Photoshop.
I thought there was just a Preference command.
You know how that one thing irks you so bad it just makes your day shitty. This is it. Only Jesus can save me now.

Clean your keybord. Probably there is some dust under the key and he can't make any contact anymore.

are you changing the size in the transform window? if so, enter one dimension (h or w), then hold down the COMMAND key when you hit return; that wil proportionally scale the object.

Well in every program pressing the Shift key maintains the proportion when you grab the corner and scale it.
I am not able to do this. It doesn't work on the other side either, which I don't know if anyone uses that much.
I wish it were dust or something, but it is just a pain today.
