okay i can't afford a powerbook at the moment, and i got offered a g3 powerbooked that has all be upgraded to a g4, 80 gb, and 512mb ram, 433 mhz... for 550, what you guys think?

hmmm..hat you are gonna use it for.
i've got a PB 1.33gh,1.5gig ram...its great at print..but motion(my main job)its getting sluggish.
and..how much are you getting it for?

That thing is a dinosaur. I think that it is the one that Moses used to spellcheck the 10 commandments.
save another 5 bills and get an ibook.TR1

Definitely too much bread. Look on eBay and see what those go for - I wouldn't pay more than $150 for it... as was said - get an iBook...
