the funny thing, is we all thought he and freestyle skating was so gay back in the day. while we were doing huge acid drops and shit, these guys were flipping their boards around.
one thing i always admired though was the yo-ho or whatever, where he could just ride into a handplant withouht having to put his feet down. that blew us away! the fact that he was doing triple kickflips was just too hard to comprehend.
we never realised that he was inventing skateboarding.
